Hair Color: Black with a white streak on his right side.

Notes for Artists:
Outside his armor, Daybreaker Alpha has a mechanical right arm, right leg and right eye.
When in flight, energy/flames should be shown coming from the exhausts on his jet boots, not from the sole's of his feet.
Energy blasts are generally a pure white energy, sometimes with light blueish highlights.


Powers:
Outside of his armor, Daybreaker Alpha has no super powers. His mechanical right arm and leg are slightly stronger than his flesh and blood ones but not superhuman. His mechanical right eye does provide some enhanced sight.

Daybreaker Alpha has some skills in hand to hand combat but generally relies on the strength and abilities of his suit for combat.


Equipment:
The Daybreaker Alpha armor can be modified and enhanced to possess a great many technological abilities but the standard armor is designed for peak performance in a myriad of situations while maintaining maximum strength, power output and battery life. Standard abilities of the armor are:

Defensive Shield - when the armor is active a force field surrounds it which has the ability of absorbing many forms of energy and often using them to supplement the armors own batteries. The biggest weakness of this defensive shielding is magical energies, but that is being worked on.

Power Blasts - The armor is able to emit energy blasts from the hands/gauntlets in varying degrees of force and of varying sizes. Wide beam, low intensity blasts can be used to firmly push back unruly mobs, narrow high force beams can be used to blast holes through steel and more. The size and force of the beams can range anywhere between the extremes.

Eye Beam - The armor can emit a beam of energy from the monocle over the right eye for varying uses. The most common is for accurate targeting purposes but it can uses be used as a cutting tool or for when very precise blasts are required.

Strength - The armor provides a general superhuman strength to the wearer for everything from punches, to lifting and throwing items.

Flight - The armor is capable of prolonged flight.

Data Storage/Retrieval - The armor is connected to the internet and is also wired directly into the wearers brain. As such, the wearer has almost instantaneous access to any information he could retrieve through any computer, as well as access to many police and government systems, as well as television and pay per view.


Personality:
Calvin Michaels/Daybreaker Alpha is your average working class guy. He doesn't view himself as a superhero so much as a guy doing a job only he can do. During his down time he's likely to be watching the local sports team, enjoying a few beers, or doing the stuff around the house which always needs doing.


Short Biogrophy:
Calvin Michaels was at the local mall with his pregnant fiance when it was attacked by the super villain known as Malfearance. During this attack his fiance and their unborn child died while she tried to help the wounded. Calvin Michaels himself was grievously wounded while trying to convince her to flee with him.

Finding himself missing an arm, a leg and an eye and his loved ones dead, Calvin Michaels grew bitter and longed for revenge. During one of his many hospital visits, Calvin was approached by some Crey Industries representatives who had an intriguing offer for him; They wanted to use him as a test subject, first for some high tech prosthesis and later, if that all went well, as the pilot of a new Powered Armor they were developing, supposedly with the goal of aiding police enforcement. Seeing a possible means to extracting his revenge, Calvin Michaels jumped at the chance.

All went well and the Daybreaker Alpha powered armor was a huge success. The problems only arose when Crey Industries found Calvin Michaels wasn't the manipulable puppet they believed he would be. Calvin's sense of right and wrong and his integrity proved to be problems for Crey Industries and so they tried to eliminate him. Despitte the assistance of his super powered friends Fenian and Caemgen, Daybreaker Alpha did indeed die in a battle with Crey Industries and was believed to have died.

Unknown to any at the time, an alien life form known as a Kheldian joined it's essence with Calvin Michaels and saved his life. Though this species has had much contact with Earth, this particular entity was new to the planet and unfamiliar with the inhabitants. As such, this Kheldian did not know where the difference between human and machine, and when it joined it's essence with that of Calvin Michaels, it also incorporated the Daybreaker Alpha armor into the new entity which was created. The alien presence largely inhabits the Daybreaker Armor and the mechanical prosthesis of Calvin Michaels but while it is in a sense a living machine, it cannot act independantly. Further, Calvin Michaels cannot fo extended periods without donning the full Daybreaker Alpha, a full day outside the armor and he finds himself growing weak and dizzy. At this point in time Calvin Michaels is confident that he is himself and not a combination of himself and alien/machine, but he finds it harder and harder to take off the armor and he fears that somehow man is becoming one with the machine/alien...

After revealing that he was still alive, Calvin Michaels/Daybreaker Alpha has remained close friends with Caemgen and Fenian, though he has not revealed the precise circumstances which allowed him to survive. He has also grown close with the others Fenian collectively calls The Fianna, Gorm Diabhal, Blue Boltage and Fenian Wolf.
